Pema Metallurgy works in the field of metallic mines.
It has been active in 7 fields concerning 5 chrome and 2 mangenese mines placed in Sivas and the districts around.
The research and development and drilling operations concerning the reserve evaluation in these fields and investments continue.

Kangal / Çamözü Operation in Sivas, contains one of Turkey’s biggest chrome enterprise facilities with its manufacture capacity.  
Pema Metallurgy is operating on research and execution in an area of 1.363 hectares in Kangal/Çamözü.

In this field lots of chrome pits are active and the work concerning the improvement of the capacities of the pits continue.
The fragment chrome substance is made ready for delivery by being distinguished, chrome substance all in ballast is put into process for enrichment.  The chrome enterprise facility works constantly with three shifts.

The mine substance samples gained from the research and drilling operations are analysed in the labs within Pema Metallurgy. There are electric- electronic and mechanical ateliers for a quick response to the technical malfunctions in the facility. 
Approximately 3.00-5.000  tons of chrome substance (Cr²O³ %8-18)  all in ballast can be gained daily from the  pits in Sivas / Kangal / Çamözü Operation Field.

Sivas / Kangal / Çamözü Chrome Enterprise Facility has a capacity of producing approximately 500-600 tons of concantrated chrome (Cr203%46-52) with its 228 concantrate tables, 5 grinders and 2 breakers with 375 tons/h operational capability.
Chrome Enterprise Facility’s water need of 1.800m³, is provided from the artifical lake where the rain and snow water is stored. This artifical lake that was built in the process of the facility’s foundation has a 6.500.000 m³ water  capacity. The water provided from the lake with the help of pumping station is transferred to a tank of  9.000 m³ water capacity. The water which is used in the process of chrome enrichment, is re-canalized to the pumping station after  pre-purification  plant and stilling pool.

Çamözü Chrome Enterprise Facility’s electricity need is provided from the power lines established by Pema Metallurgy at a distance of 13 kilometers between Ulaş district and facility and the transformers with power of the 3.600 KW.  In case of a  lattice energy power cut, the operation will continue uninterruptedly with the transformers stepping in.
